We are now accepting registrations for grades TK-8 for the 2025-2026 school year. The date range has been expanded to include more students! Students born September 2, 2020 - September 1, 2021 are now eligible to apply. All applications are accepted online. Visit www.eesd.org/enrollment for more details on the required documents to complete your registration.
Starting in the 2025-26 school year, all children who turn four years old on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten (TK). This expansion of TK aims to provide all young learners with a strong foundation for academic success. TK offers a developmentally appropriate learning environment where children can explore their curiosity, build social-emotional skills, and develop a love of learning. Are you curious about the CAASPP state testing that your child will be participating in soon? The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is an important measure of student learning, and we want to make sure you have all the information you need. Join us for a Parent Information Night on Tuesday, January 28 from 6 to 7 p.m. via Zoom. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of CAASPP, including:
- What the tests assess
- Available resources
- Test taking strategies

The start of the New Year is a great time to get organized and declutter. In fact, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) has coined January as “Get Organized Month or GO Month.” The recognition was established to promote the benefits of getting organized.

Attendance Matters
How many absences are too many? Chronic absence is defined as 18 days a year—or just 2 days a month. Call your student's school office if you have questions about your student's attendance.
Are you receiving school communications?
Update your contact information to avoid missing important communications from the school and school district via tools like PowerSchool, ParentSquare and Peachjar.
